Year 11 VET Small Business – Cooking Activity

On the week of 27th of October all three VET Small Business classes made Pizza, Truffles, Sausage Rolls and Muffins. For the past 2-3 weeks in class we have been learning the meaning of quality within a business. This activity was a great choice to show and gave us first-hand experience. In Particular, with the the truffles, we had to make each individual truffle the exact same size, they all had to have the same amount of coconut on them as well for them to be a quality truffle. There were some groups that concentrated on the task extremely well and had all truffles the same; one group, however, were unable to achieve the same size in their truffles but regardless they still tasted of quality!
